At De Club we treat accessibility as part of how we receive people, not as a box to tick. This page is the signup page for Summer @ De Club, and we want it usable by as many people as possible, including anyone browsing with assistive technology.

The accessibility menu

Every page here carries an accessibility button in the bottom corner. It opens a menu where you can enlarge the text, raise contrast, switch to grayscale, underline all links, stop animations, or switch to a plainer typeface. Your choices are remembered on this device.

What we have done on this page

• Semantic HTML with a correct heading order, so screen readers can navigate it.
• The whole form works by keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring on every control.
• Every field has a permanent label, not just placeholder text inside the box.
• Error messages are written in words, attached to the field they belong to, and never rely on colour alone.
• Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
• Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text can be enlarged in the browser without the layout breaking, and the page works on mobile.
• Animation is switched off automatically for anyone with prefers-reduced-motion set in their operating system.

Known limits

This page has not been through a professional accessibility audit and holds no Israeli Standard 5568 certificate. The list above describes what was built, not the finding of an external review. If something gets in your way, that is exactly what we want to hear about.

Getting into the venue

The event runs across two spaces. The outdoor space is at entrance level. The ECHO floor is in the basement and is reached by stairs. If physical access matters for you, write to us before the event and we will sort out what is possible.
